Vasaras sezonā nereti vienā dienā šajā baznīcā norit vairākas kāzas. Baznīca atrodas pie Pieniņu ezera. Turpat netālu ir ierīkota neliela peldvieta.
Pieniņos senā koka baznīca celta 1806.gadā, kas ir saglabājusies līdz mūsdienām, lai gan tiek izmantota kā noliktava. Cēlis šo koka dievnamu grāfs Borhs. 1936.gadā prāvestam J.Kiseļevskim kūrija lika uzbūvēt jaunu baznīcu ezera krasta citā vietā. Baznīca tika celta no cementa ķieģeļiem ar vienu torni gotiskā stilā. 1939.gadā pabeigti galvenie būvdarbi un baznīca iesvētīta. Tā veltīta Jēzus Sirds godam un sv. Annas aizbildnībai.
Baznīcā ved trīs gala durvis: galā, labajos sānos un sakristejā. Ir trīs altāri un trīs navas. Koka griesti vidējā navā lokveidoti, bet sānu navās lēzeni. Grīda no krāsainām flīzēm. Katrā pusē ir trīs mūra pīlāri, uz ko balstās baznīcas virsbūves smagums. Lielajā altārī ir Vissv. Jēzus Sirds statuja. Statujas galva gatavota no koka, to pagatavoja kokgriezēja Subatē, bet pārējā daļa gatavota no ģipša. Sānu altāros kreisajā pusē Jaunavas Marijas Sirds statuja, bet labajā pusē sv. Jadvigas glezna. Visi trīs altāri ozolkoka, gotiskā stilā. Katrā pusē četri logi, krāsaina vitrāža. Pie ieejas kreisajā pusē baznīcas piederumu noliktava, bet labajā – trepes uz kora telpām. Ērģeļu nav, tikai harmonijs. Baznīcas fasādē ir augsts kvadrātveidīgs tornis ar zvaniem. Tornim sānos mazi tornīši ar krustiem vidū. Baznīcas dārzam apkārt koka žogs baltu ķieģeļu stabiņos. Tādi paši stabiņi pie ieejas vārtiem. Pie ieejas dārzā kreisajā pusē vecās baznīcas dzelzs krusts iemūrēts akmens pamatā. Tas ir senu amatnieku darbs.
