Description
Garkalnes Evanģēliski luteriskā baznīca celta 1848. gadā uz mūra pamatiem. Tās atrašanās vieta bija izvēlēta netālu no trīs muižām – Remberģu, Vesterotes un Iļķenes, kuru iedzīvotāji apmeklēja dievnamu. Padomju laikā baznīca tika izmantota kā noliktava, bet 1990. gados sākās tās atjaunošana. Tagad baznīca kalpo aktīvai draudzei – nelielā Garkalnes lauku baznīca, mājīga un silta, sagaida ikvienu Dievlūdzēju.
