Description
Koknese sports centre (KSC) is the biggest sports service provider in the region; it offers a wide variety of sports and health improvement options. KSC has a modern pool, big sports arena, gym, stadium with a 400-metre running track and outdoor sports fields — beach volleyball, basketball and skate park. Koknese sports centre serves individual visitors who can attend the centre without prior booking, as well as summer camps and exercise groups that want to rent out the premises to improve their skills.
The pool at KSC is rather popular — it has two pools (a big 25-metre pool and a small pool for children — 10×5 m), a jacuzzi tub, sauna and a steam bath. The pool is accessible almost all year round.
