Description
Majoru Dievmātes Bezvainīgās Sirds Romas katoļu baznīca celta 1884.gadā ar priestera Jāņa Jaceviča un Dr. med. Mikela Pekarska rūpēm. Tolaik katoļu baznīcu drīkstēja atvērt tikai ar speciālu ķeizara atļauju, kas bija grūti iegūstama, līdz ar to ēka tika būvēta kā sporta zāle. Tornis tika piebūvēts tikai 1911. gadā. 1990.gadā bīskaps Ņukšs baznīcas dārzā iesvētīja akmens krustu, kas tika uzstādīts sakarā ar baznīcas 100 gadu jubileju.
