Ceramic kiln MADZE
Keramikas ceplis atrodas Ropažu novada Augšciemā. Rīga 45km, Sigulda 21 km, Ropaži 14km, Mālpils 17 km, Ogre 30 km.
Ar malku kurināms ceplis. Idejas un zināšanas ņemtas no Evalda Vasilevska, Mārtiņa Pērkona izpildījums un jauninājumi. Ceplis kurināms ar malku 10-12 stundas pakāpeniski ceļot temperatūru līdz pat 1100 grādiem. Traukus ceplī liek brīvā krāvumā vienu uz otru, ņemot vērā, ka dedzināšanas laikā tie var sarauties. Lai cepli izkurinātu, nepieciešami vismaz 100-150 darbi. Traukus veidojam no dažādiem māliem, bet savu melno krāsu tie iegūst redukcijas procesā. Pēc tam ceplim jāļauj vismaz 12 stundas atdzist un tad ņem ārā siltus darbus. Pēdējo spīdumu tie iegūst, ieeļojot ar siltu vaska un eļļas maisījumu.
