Description
Lipinišķu draudze ir viena no pirmajām pareizticīgo draudzēm Daugavpils novadā. Pirmais koka dievnams iesvētīts 1836. gadā. Pašreizējās baznīcas celtniecībai līdzekļus ziedoja draudzes locekļi, kā arī Polockas-Vitebskas bīskapija. Baznīcas pamati likti 1906. gadā, tā iesvētīta 1908. gadā. Ēka celta krusta formā bizantiešu stilā no sarkaniem ķieģeļiem, tai ir divi torņi. Fasādes noformējumā ir daudz dekoratīvu elementu.
