Neliela muižiņa tagadējās Kandavas pilsētas robežās, kuras zemi veidoja vairākas daļas. Muižas kodols bija ”Garais tīrums”, kas 1400.g. izlēņots Hinriham Bladijam. Pie tā atradās Rakumu zeme. 17.gs. muiža kopā ar Cēres muižu piederēja Oldenbokumu dzimtai. Lielākā daļa no muižas zemēm atradās visnotaļ tālu no muižas centra: Sabiles draudzē pie Virbu muižas robežām. Uz tām atradās Žuburu, Jaunzemnieku un Antenieku mājas, kā arī Priežu krogs.
Muižas īpašnieki bieži mainījušies, tās zeme tikusi dalīta un pārdalīta. 19.gs. sākumā muižas īpašnieks bija Reinholds fon Štempels, pēc kura vārda tā ieguvusi vienu no saviem nosaukumiem. 1884.g. muižu iegādājusies baronese Aleksandra fon Štromberga. Pēdējais īpašnieks bija Lionels fon Štrombergs.
