Jelgavas novada Salgales pagastā Lielupes krastā atrodas pirmā Latvijas Republikas prezidenta Jāņa Čaktes dzimtas īpašums“Auči”, kur 2018.gadā atjaunotajā kalpu mājā ir tapusi ekspozīcija, kas piedāvā nevis tradicionālu memoriālo muzeju eksponātu izkārtojumu, kas vedina uz konkrētas personas klātbūtni pagātnes formā, bet paplašina robežas, piedāvājot domas klātbūtni, idejas klātbūtni:
Jāņa Čakstes dzīves būtiskākie notikumi kā personības veidošanās ceļš – tas sasaucas ar ikviena apmeklētāja (topošas personības, nobriedušas personības..) personīgo pieredzi;
Jāņa Čakstes vērtību sistēma, demokrātija kā kompromisu māksla, kā kalpošana sabiedrībai veido asocācijas ar norisēm mūsdienu sabiedrībā, kā arī rosina izvērtēt savas prioritātes;
Stāsts par “Auču” saimniecību un dzimtas likteņi atklāj, ko nozīmē būt latvietim likteņa līkločos,kāda nozīme ir ģimenei cilvēka dzīvē un vēl – ko mums nozīmē dzimtas mājas.
