Ethnographic holiday lodge Gungas is a unique collection of authentic traditional Latvian wooden houses. They were originally constructed in the 19th century and collected from various parts of the country. Rescued and carefully moved to their new location, they now stand encircled by a pine forest at the shore of Lake Dūņezers, where they have been lovingly reassembled.

In Gungas the historical Latvian country spirit still connects with nature’s powerful energy but with up to date comforts.
