Airē ar kanoe (vienlāpstiņas) airi.
Sastāv no divām, gaitas virzienā vērstāmkanoe kuras savienotas ar šķērstrubām. Pieejami sešvietīgi katamarāni. Neapgāžami „kuģi”, tāpēc visbiežāk izmanto grūtos maršrutos ar lielām krācēm. Vai atpūtas un tūrisma braucienos ar bērniem. Protams ar tiem mierīgi var braukt arī pa gludu ūdeni.

Šāda veida katamarānu darbina minot pedāļus (kā velosipēdam).
Tas sastāv no diviem gaitas virzienā vērstiem baloniem, kas savienoti ar līdzenu klāju.
Klājā ir integrēti četri sēdekļi.
Divi braucēji sēž ar seju braukšanas virzienā – tiem arī visas vadības iekārtas (stūre un pedāļi) , divi sēž pretēji braukšanas virzienam. Var arī atlaisties uz klāja. Arī šāds katamarāns ir neapgāžams.
